Most Unique Blues Album Of The Year (2013)

"In this honest and revealing anthology of a blues-life, far beyond one which most would admit to, Michael Packer in his new CD "I Am The Blues - My Story" brings us in narrative and songs a vivid account of his life." (Midwest Record Entertainment)

Blues Underground Network Editor Choice Award 2013

"Howl At The Moon" (The John Pippus Band) (Canada)

"Howl At The Moon" was something I have not heard in a long while, with a style and sound that came across with a great Canadian Blues meets British Rock feel. Very reminescent of the great sounds that came out of Britain in the late 60's and early 70's, but with something that truly makes it sound thoroughly refreshing and unique. In addition to the Blues and Rock feel of "Howl At The Moon", you will also get a little Roots, thus creating the perfect triple threat that is the music of John Pippus. John Vermilyea (Blues Underground Network)
