SomeX6 "Live @ The Yale 111"
(Alternative / Blues / Rock)
I really enjoy listening to live albums, especially when the sound is done right and the musicians are top notch. Such is the case with "Live @ The Yale 111", the latest in a series of now 3 live albums put out by SomeX6 recorded at Vancouver's Legendary Night Club "The Yale".
With Band Members, Brad Curtis (Vocals/Bass), Murray Mclaughlan (Guitar), Bart Dwyer (Guitar), and Dave Fowler (Drums), SomeX6 offers us up 7 very fine tunes, consisting of 3 covers and 4 originals, which nicely cover the Blues, Blues/Rock and Rock Spectrum, all of them having no problem of hooking you in and transporting you back a few years when music was really really good, think early 70's.
SomeX6 is a very popular WestCoast Band and after listening to "Live @ The Yale 111", I can certainly understand why, with musicianship second to none, they will I am sure, continue to impress all their fans, old and new.

About SomeX6
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
The SOME x 6 Band was officially born during the summer of 2002 at Nat Bailey Stadium, Vancouver BC. Brad Curtis, Murray Mclaughlan, and Sandy Stewart, had just finished playing a Senior Men's Baseball game at the historic Nat Bailey Stadium on a hot July afternoon, and were sitting back talking after the game. They soon realized they all shared a passion for playing music. Thus began the journey that today we call The SOME x 6 Band. Fast forward over the years, and we find The SOME x 6 Band has undergone its share of personnel changes. Since it's creation, founding member Brad Curtis has played with a variety of excellent musicians, each helping shape the sound we now know as The SOME x 6 Band.
