The Albums chosen were in the Categories of either Blues, Blues Rock, or NNTB (Not Necessarily The Blues).The category of NNTB (Not Necessarily The Blues), is designated to Albums which are an assortment of other genres in which Blues is not the predominating genre.

The Albums picked were chosen from 162 CD's submitted to the Blues Underground Network from January 1, 2011 till December 15, 2011.
